Informal interactive dialogue (IID) on Sudan titled “From Principles to Practice: translating international mediation commitments into a coherent, civilian-led path to peace”, which is being organised by Denmark and the UK. Briefings are expected from the Personal Envoy of the Secretary-General for Sudan, Pekka Haavisto; the Chairperson of the African Union (AU) High-Level Panel on Sudan, Mohamed Ibn Chambas; the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the Horn of Africa, Annette Weber; Director of the Horn of Africa and Sudan Department at the League of Arab States (LAS), Zeid Al Sabban; and a representative of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD).
